Messenger is an ideal fresh market sweet corn which delivers superb quality, attractive looking cobs with yellow kernels which have straight rows and almost perfect tip fill even under high heat conditions. The plant is strong and sturdy as it doesn't lodge under windy conditions. Generally, Messenger has very good plant health with resistance against Rust. It is well adapted in South Africa for spring, summer, autumn planting.
